Today we were excited to begin our Poppy Art! We had fun experimenting with poppies that are small and big based on if they are close or far away.
In ELA, we are learning about diagraphs (two letters that together make a different sound) and this week we are doing "th". We enjoyed using these words to create sentences like "I love my mother!"
In Spanish, we described our scarecrows orally using the following prompts:
- Mi espantapajaro se llama...
- Mi espantapajaro lleva... (e.j., una chaqueta azul)
- Mi espantapajaro tiene... (e.j., dos ojos)
In Math, we continued practicing addition statements and were introduced to fact families.
In Science, we explored using 'hotter than' and 'colder than' to describe different temperatures found on a thermometer.
