Buenas tardes a todos,
The students have been busy working well this week. We had the magnifying glasses in class today and had a closer look at investigating the various insects in our class.
ELA
The students looked at words ending in -tion. The students sang along with a -tion song and then created many examples, both written and verbal of using -tion words. Already, students are beginning to recognize -tion words. The students also continued to work on their Stuck Stories.
MAT
In Math, the students worked on two-digit subtraction, word problems, 3D shapes and we worked through our centres as well.
SLA
The students continued to work on presenting their work on Food. They practiced with their Grade 5 buddies today. We read in pairs, as a class and small guided reading groups. The students also worked the the Spanish centres.
