This week we have been learning about Terry Fox and his marathon of hope. We learnt that Terry Fox believed that, "...anything is possible if you try". This inspired us to think of what our dreams are! Ask me what my dream is! We created an art display of our dreams in our classroom.
We have been expanding our Spanish vocabulary to include members of our family and our favourite fruits and vegetables. Our project has been updated to reflect our new vocabulary! These questions and responses include:
- ¿Cuál es su fruta favorita? Mi fruta favorita es...
- ¿Cuál es su vegetal favorito? Mi vegetal favorito es...
- ¿Quien esta en tu familia? Mi familia es mi...
During math class we have started to learn about place values and using base ten blocks to represent numbers. In English, we practiced the vocabulary (first, second, third, first, then, and finally) associated with sequences of everyday routines (beginning, middle, and ending)!
