Welcome back after the Thanksgiving long weekend! I was happy to see everybody's smiling faces.
In Math, we started with center activities. We are exploring repeating and increasing patterns using cubes and pattern blocks.
In ELA, we read a book called, "If I were an adjective" and have started to explore what an adjective is and how it is used to make creative and interesting sentences. We also learnt about words with long 'E' sounds - ask me for some long 'e' sound words!
In Spanish, we reviewed syllables and sung the Spanish alphabet. We continued to work on our Spanish project.
In Science, we did a science experiment to investigate different magnet strengths and their ability to pick up paperclips. We were surprised to find that the bar magnet picked up the most paperclips! During this activity, we also learnt that not all magnets have equal strengths.
