Today we had our Scholastic book fair! We were excited to take a look at all the books!

In Art, we created snowman drawings from the perspective of a 'worm'. We had fun exploring the perspective of a worm looking up!
In Spanish, we played a game to identify prepositions (e.g., arriba, debajo, a la izquierda, a la derecha). We had fun using the vocabulary from our alphabet syllable projects.
In Math, we continued to represent numbers using base ten blocks, expand numbers using place values, and identify place values. We continued practicing how to count by 2s and 5s, backwards and forwards, starting at a given number.
In English, we had fun using our imagination to create 'scribbly stories'. We were also excited to use our knowledge to organize words into long vowel word families. Ask us which long vowel words we know!
